I’m so pleased to announce a momentous BAF step forward, as Dr. Nnenia Campbell has stepped up from being the Bill Anderson Fund Deputy Director to becoming the Bill Anderson Fund Executive Director effective July 1, 2023!

Let me say that it has been such a rewarding pleasure to watch Nnenia develop from being that new PhD student, at the University of Colorado Boulder….(who had lunch with Bill, Brandi Gilbert and me), to becoming a BAF Fellow, and into the professional that she is today. As you know, the BAF Alumni unanimously selected Nnenia to be the BAF Deputy Director more than a year ago.  From the beginning she enthusiastically took on more and more responsibility in preparation to become the Executive Director as she also fulfilled her other professional obligations.

I sincerely feel that the strength of an organization includes preparation for who is to step forward when the person at the helm steps back. I thank you for your support in this journey and it has been a wonderful ride!!!!  Many of you have been with the BAF since its inception and have demonstrated tremendous support. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!  I am so appreciative of your help, patience, forbearance and will hold your dedication preciously for the rest of my life!!!
