Norma Doneghy Anderson
President and Founder
Norma Anderson has spent more than four decades in leadership positions in education, corporate communications and administration, training, IT consulting, sales and supply chain management. She is a recognized leader in creating successful programs that help build the skills and career opportunities to under-served and under-represented urban communities.
Nnenia Campbell, Ph.D.
Executive Director
Dr. Nnenia Campbell is Executive Director of the Bill Anderson Fund (BAF). She is a member of the BAF Founding Fellows, a group of doctoral and master’s students that collaborated with Norma Doneghy Anderson to develop the BAF structure and programming that continue to evolve alongside the needs of current BAF Fellows. She holds BA and MA degrees in sociology from the University of Central Florida and a Ph.D. in sociology from the University of Colorado Boulder. Her research interests center on the intersections between vulnerability and resilience, particularly within marginalized communities.
Yajaira I. Ayala A., Ph.D.
Program Coordinator
Dr. Yajaira I. Ayala A. is a Program Coordinator with the Bill Anderson Fund. She was a BAF Fellow from 2020-2024 and held various leadership positions such as Vice-Chair of the Student Council, and co-editor of a special issue in the Disaster Prevention and Management Journal titled “Using critical perspectives to explore disasters through shifting climates.” She also served as Chairperson of the Alumni Network in 2025. Yajaira holds a BA in Sociology and a MA in Disaster Science and Management from the University of Delaware. Her research interests lie in the intersection of vulnerability and resilience, and long-term recovery.
